Oh good, a whole episode of them.

Impressions:

Like most episodes of this show, it suffered from abusing the same joke over and over and over and over and over again. The joke was godawful too. Enma’s childhood friend who has a crush on Enpi pops up and his little horn is ‘overturning’ everything, which usually comes out as them doing a ‘comical’ faceplant, the likes of which we’ve already seen at least a dozen times every episode anyway. The main difference here is that the lack of comedic timing was supposed to be comedic. Except… well… yeah. Those aren’t even funny to begin with.

Plus there were some really uncomfortably lazily animated parts, like the team just crawling in a circle for almost thirty straight seconds. Add onto that some particularly clumsy and weird attempts to interject a plot into all of this, and this was easily one of the weakest, if not the weakest, episodes to date. The show hasn’t even really been that great lately anyway, just different levels of traumatizin. Anyway, Enpi’s revealed to be Enma’s older sister, who used to wear his little tiara thing until she decided to be naked and perverted and ran off. So it’s some kind of mystical widget. Like that wasn’t obvious from the last episode or two where she was eyeing it.
