It’s a Santana kind of day.

Impressions:

Fairly meh episode outside of Ceci fully transitioning into lovestruck mode and becoming jealous of all other females. The first half really does nothing and goes nowhere while the second half is all Lingyin’s introduction, Ichika’s second childhood friend… literally. He actually specifies Houki as the first childhood friend, which makes her ovaries tingle. Meanwhile, I think Ceci would be satisfied with any attention whatsoever. That is British foreplay, right? Well, that and a bracing cup of tea.

*ahem* Anyway, token British joke out of the way for the week, Lingyin isn’t doing a very good job of making herself interesting so far. At the moment, she’s basically just a rehash of Houki with an extra tail, a fang, smaller breasts, and makes a lot more noise. It’s not like this show was exactly a beacon of creativity to begin with, but if they wanted to recycle the childhood friend cliche already, they really should have at least tried to add some twist to it. She even comes with terrible forgotten promises. I guess the partial materialization of the IS suits is kind of a neat trick, but… eh. Maybe next time she’ll use it to slap Ichika through a wall… or give him the worst handy imaginable.
