When The Seagulls Fight, Everybody Dies

November 20th, 2010

To put a capstone on the end of the Umineko series, it’s also apparently going to be getting a rather slick looking fighting game. Sure, Battler is still goofy as all hell, but given everything else that the Umineko series has been through, this may just be the best way to end things. There’s still not a ton (or really, any info) on it yet, but it does seem to be rather pretty to look at. Thanks to Moogy for the heads up. Tons of screens after the cut or in the link above.

  • The Phantom says:

It would great if the game is a mix of a visual novel with a fighting game, and not only a fighting game with no plot at all. It looks amazing though so I am getting this regardless.

  • Aroduc says:

That wasn’t exactly the greatest thing when Melty Blood did it.

  • chounokoe says:

It’s December 31st on the Winter Comiket and January 1st in stores.
And I still don’t know how to get my hands on it, because the people I know in Japan are here in Germany while it’s being released…

EDIT: Damn…that should have gone one column further down…
