Tayutama -Kiss on my Deity- #03 — Super Saiyadog

April 19th, 2009

And she didn’t even get to first base after all that effort.

Impressions:

Meh. Well, I expected this episode to be terrible, but given that this is at least the third or fourth show I’ve watched this weekend with "I’m a monster/Darcsen/heartless killer! But it’s okay, other people will give speeches about how they believe in me," I’m really really really bloody sick of hearing it. They did pack Mashiro’s formal introduction of herself as Kikurami together rather nicely, but most of the rest of the episode was rather dull. After all the bitching about tayutais, Ameri did come through for the boys, but I would given even odds that it was just to call them idiots for bringing a ladder that was too short. Mifuyu was also pretty lame and a total nonentity in all of this. At least she put forth the effort to talk to Yuuri about Mashiro, but she didn’t actually do anything else towards helping Mashiro out.

I’m also pretty sure that Mashiro was just jonesing for some doggy lovin’ at the end, but stupid Yuuri gave her the "let’s be friends first" speech. At least scratch her behind the ears or pet her tail, you jerk.

    Ooooooh, it’s you-know-who next ep!!

  • blackinmind says:

    is only subbing this?

  • Irie says:

It’s a sweet show. Almost impossible to really enjoy without the subs but wasn’t too hard to follow. It’s going be this seasons best harem romantic comedy. Aura Cryin is a better show but you really need to read the source material to understand what’s going on. For now, it’s just watch stuff go boom.

    Nue!

  • Memento says:

    Nue~

  • lubczyk says:

Yeah, I was expecting some doggy-style at the end myself. At least have her lift her romp!!!

  • Rawr says:

The production values for this episode was pretty inconsistent imo, but it was still enjoyable. For some reason, despite this show’s shortcoming with animation, it’s still proving to be one of the more entertaining shows of the season, and probably the one I’m looking forward to the most. Weird as that is. For some reason though, I can’t help but feel as though this is going to end badly.

Came here for the “doggy-style” comment. Wasn’t disappointed.
