Impressions:

Oh hey, been a couple weeks since I said anything about this show. The last couple have been lots and lots of background on Byakko and Seiran’s crazy crazy family, but they’ve been tainted by some just plain horrendous animation. Sure, there have been more ‘action’ scenes, but when the ‘action’ is three frames of one person kicking while the other doesn’t even move… it’s just embarassing. This episode had one of the better ones of the past month, though there were still a few moments that physically caused me pain. Of course, the episode also had SAND WORMS. Rarr! Now Neo-Tokyo is apparently on Arrakis. More importantly, about half of it  was Byakko being crazy as a march hare. I guess once you go insane, that probably precludes you from joining the good guys. Oh well, it was nice knowing you, Byakko. She did look rather fetching in a sun dress. Although Deen really needs to learn to draw some new faces for this show. Kid Byakko looked the same as half the other characters… include those meant to be twins. Maybe they’e given up too.
